September 10, 2007, was a day that changed my life. After struggling for years with trying every deodorant on the market, including prescription strength antiperspirants, and after spending $750.00 on Botox injections directly into my sweat glands which lasted all of one month, I excitedly opted for the removal of my sweat glands by tumescent liposuction.
This simple, nearly painless surgery has changed my life. I no longer have to worry about or experience the embarrassment of offensive body odor. My confidence has soared, and sleeveless tops are now a staple of my wardrobe. It is hard to describe how wonderful it is to never have to worry about ruining a beautiful silk blouse, or permanently staining an expensive new sweater. From the moment I was done with my surgery, I felt a feeling of great relief that a huge burden had been taken away from me. I am confident to be close to both men and women knowing that no matter what I have been doing, I absolutely will have no underarm stain, and no underarm odor. None. Really, I mean it... NONE! What a miracle it is to me. I'm dry. I'm odor free. And I'm a new person.
Thank you Dr. Swinehart and staff for all you did. This simple, safe, and effective surgery was nearly pain free. I was able to go to work the next day and had virtually no down time.
